Welcome!

Hello, my name is Chelsea, and I am glad you've stopped by!

I'm a registered psychologist, yoga/meditation instructor, writer, and speaker. I have a passion for supporting people on their healing journey and in becoming more authentically themselves. I have had struggles in my life and have known tremendous pain and loss. While I would never have chosen it, without a doubt, it has given me a depth I would never otherwise have had. I am continuously blending my experiential learning with formal education to provide the most effective tools I can.

As a therapist, I work from a biopsychosocial perspective meaning that I see a person's current situation in a broader context. Developing an understanding that includes their: genetics, early childhood experiences, thoughts, beliefs, emotions, behaviours, as well as their social relationships (work/family/community/economics/safety) to provide practical tools as well as address deeper patterns all to support them feeling their best. I have a strong focus on building the client's self-awareness, self-esteem and deepening the mind-body connection to create a felt sense of control and autonomy. I believe that therapy is not only for those struggling but for anyone wishing to expand their awareness of themselves. I work private practice Fort McMurray and have online options for those out of town or who prefer. I work with individuals, families and couples — Book in now.

As a yoga/ meditation teacher, I work to guide people in connecting to their own experiences. I aim to create a safe space where everyone feels welcome. For me, yoga offers the possibility to deepen our awareness of ourselves. It is a chance to develop the mind-body connection, notice our emotions, and observe our thoughts. That time you set aside for yourself is valuable. It can be a chance to clear the noise of your day and reconnect to yourself. It can be a chance to show yourself you matter. It can be a way to learn more about your body and how it is best cared for, and it can be a way to regulate your nervous system and emotions. I offer private yoga as well as public classes.

I hope you find something of interest, maybe even something that inspires you. I really look forward to connecting with you and seeing what we can accomplish together.

Sunday Sessions:
COMPLIMENTARY 45 MINUTE SESSION

Every other Sunday at 8:00 pm MST I will offer a complimentary 45 minute session. I will give a short lecture on a topic related to mental health or development, with an opportunity for a brief chat, before guiding a deep relaxation, meditation, breath practice, or yoga nidra.

Everyone is welcome to attend; my hope is cameras on for the first part and then on or off for the rest.
An opportunity to connect and regulate.

Feel welcome to share.
With love

On pause for the summer, picking back up in the fall!
